Crescent City Harbor District’s Kamome Boat

Crescent City Harbor - Kamome Boats of Hope Art Tour - One of the student artists poses with their miniature replica of the Kamome boat

Made in collaboration with the Crescent City Harbor, Elle Jacot’s boat was inspired by the Del Norte County’s fishing community and many cherished memories of being at the ocean with her family. Her art symbolizes her profound connection to the sea and its ability to bridge cultures, as seen in the mingling of salmon and koi fish representing Crescent City and Japan.
