Visit the Del Norte County Kamome Boat

Jessie Deen’s miniature Kamome boat art replica project, made in collaboration with Del Norte County, symbolizes the friendship between sister cities — Rikuzentakata, Japan and Crescent City, California. Choosing the miracle pine and the California poppy to represent the relationship, the goals are to encourage creativity and open-mindedness and to celebrate different perspectives on art.
