Poetry Writing

Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) presents “The Art of Poetry and the Poetry of Art” for Veterans, Active Military, and their family members, with teaching artist Terri Glass.

Learn how poetry and art have influenced each other in various ways. Explore differing forms of poetry, and then write your observations and experiences using these poetic techniques. All levels of writers are welcome.

Classes will be held IN-PERSON, Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. September 9 – October 28. Classes will be held at 501 H Street, Crescent City (please park in the lot behind the building). Due to gathering size restrictions, only nine students are allowed to participate in-person at this time, and social distancing with masks is required.

Workshops are free-of-charge. Families may participate whether or not the Veteran attends. To register (required to attend), or for more information, please email office@dnaca.net.
