Golf in Crescent City, California

Crescent City has one fun golf course to swing at. Wedge a challenging adventure in between river relaxation, redwood sightseeing, and beach-bumming at King’s Valley Golf Course. The course offers an avid or beginner golfer plenty of on-green challenges and beautiful scenery.

King’s Valley Golf Course

Located at the junction of Highways 100 and 199 just as you leave Crescent City to head to Grant’s Pass, King’s Valley’s 18-hole golf course presents an energizing golf game and a full bar — golfing is very affordable at King’s Valley Golf Course with games ranging from $15 to $21. Some greens feature coastal pines and alders, making for a very scenic challenge. Choose to play 9-holes or all 18. Teach your kids to drive the ball down the 200-yard driving range and then settle in for a hot dog at the snack bar. Kids 12 and under only pay $5 to play.

The King’s Valley Golf Course is open 7 days a week seasonally from May to December. Inquire about renting the course and clubhouse for a private golfing event or weddings. For disc golf lovers, they also have a 18-basket disc golf course with options to play 9 or all 18-holes.

Salmon Run Golf Course in Brookings, Oregon

Travel north along Highway 101 for another nearby “gem” of a golf course. Salmon Run Golf Course is a beautiful public course that was planned to capture the outstanding nature of the Chetco River Canyon area in Brookings, Oregon — look for spawning salmon and steelhead in Jack Creek that runs through the courses. Less than 30 miles from Crescent City and located only a few miles outside of downtown Brookings, this course is open year-round and is very playable in the wintertime. Fall Fun 🍂 Blueberry season is over, but the 🫐 Blueberry Hill Farm in Crescent City, California is open on Saturdays and Sundays 10am-6pm for U-pick pumpkins and U-pick flowers. Grab a snack at the Skarff Food Truck while you're there! 🎃 12 different varieties of organically grown pumpkins for carving, baking, and decorating. 🌼 Picking flowers? They provide you with pruning shears and a mason jar filled with water. Use the pruning shears to clip flowers and fill your mason jar to build your bouquet.
