Horseback Riding in Crescent City & Del Norte County, California

Saddle up your “mane” squeeze for an unforgettable horseback riding trail trek. Chart a course all your own or hire a guide to explore the big outdoors on horseback. A ride through Del Norte County’s unspoiled scenery will make memories worth sharing.

Ride Through the Redwoods

Savor the enchanting quiet of redwood forests atop your steadfast steed. Enjoy miles of trusty trails through Little Bald Hills. This trail also features a horse camp so you can backpack in and explore more corners of the forest. Meander the Rellim or Mill Creek horse trails and spy woodpeckers and warblers from your saddle.

Beach Trail Rides

Let the sand and salt brush away worries as your horse strolls the coastline of South, Crescent, Hidden or Gold Bluffs Beach. The dunes and marshes of Tolowa State Park are an equine dream. Plan an overnight adventure and stay in the park’s horse camp. Or plan to have someone else do all the planning when you arrange a guided trail ride.

Guided Horseback Riding

Cherish the moment your young one connects with a gentle giant. Leave the worry behind as a local expert guides you along safe and serene trails. Roam through sprawling meadows to the shore or trot under a lofty canopy and fern-covered paths. Riding horseback through northern California’s lush landscapes is an experience of a lifetime. Book a guided horseback riding tour with Crescent Trail Rides.
