Kamome “Boats of Hope” Art Tour

The story of Kamome lives on as a FREE self-guided art tour in Del Norte County, California. Follow the map to tour 7 small replica boats hand-painted by local Del Norte High School students to earn a commemorative prize. Snap a photo of each boat, then stop by the Crescent City-Del Norte County Visitor Center to collect your commemorative prize!

Save the date for our annual Kamome Festival happening every April in Crescent City which includes a restaurant week, free Japanese cultural events, and a closing dinner, auction and performances to raise funds for student exchange programs and Del Norte High School’s Japan Club.
