Fishermen’s Marketing Association Kamome Boat

Made in collaboration with the Fishermen’s Marketing Association, Ava Longoria’s art tells the stories of Crescent City’s connection to the sea and her childhood
spent fishing off the city’s pier and exploring local tidepools. The salmon and koi fish represent the connection between different cultures while the starfish and barnacles symbolize the ocean taking over the Kamome boat.
The Fishermen’s Marketing Association’s Boat is on Display at the Crescent City Harbor Office
Open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
